Construction Details:

Everything I'm wearing with the exception of the wig and flesh toned mesh started its life white. I dyed everything at least twice to get the gradient. I used a cold fiber reactive dye for the fabric and acid dye for the feathers. the shoes are a mixture of leather dye and acrylic paint. I am actually very excited about the shoes. They are not in the reference image so I pretty much got to do whatever I wanted. :D

As someone who usually does stupid wigs this styling experience was blessedly easy. Of course I styled my Hinoto's wig as well which basically cancels out any relaxation I gained from styling Kanoe.

The wingalings...I don't even. They are a combination of lycra, craft foam, wire, 1 spool of upholstery thread, tacky glue, feathers and five seasons of Eureka. If there is enough interest I may just make a tutorial but for now just ask if you have questions. :D
