Construction Details:

I had to make a lots of resin jewelry for this dress. 121 jewels to be exact. I could only do 6 a a time two small jewels for the train, two small jewels for the skirt and two big jewels for the skirt. I glued them all on my dress using E6000 glue.

The train was surprisingly easier to make than I anticipated. I also added a little bit of train a the top to make it fuller and added jewels to make it look prettier. I used elastic to make the ruffles in the sleevs and at the front of the skirt.

Personal Thoughts:

I really Love Rarity as a character. She rally inspires me and I really liked her Dress she designed for the Gala at the end of season one. I saw a few cosplays of this dress but none really wowed me.This was especially true when it came to the train. Not many people managed to get the train correctly. I chose to do this cosplay to out do myself and also do justice to the original design of the dress.

Styling Notes

I curled the wig with boiling water and foam curlers. I had to re curl a few strands of hair and it took a while to dry befor I could take out the curlers.
