Construction Details:

I bought a wholesale bolt of lamour satin which was 25 yards, and used pretty much all of it. The tiers are all circle skirts, and the tiers with the pleats on them are shorter circle skirts with huge rolls of pleated fabric (which took like three freaking days to do because after I ironed the pleats down, I sewed the back of the pleats so that they would lay flat and not shift too much) sewed on to the ends of the circle skirt.

Roses are also made of the same fabric, which was fun. I had to roll them a couple of times to get a good shape for the petals cause I kept thinking that they looked weird.

Personal Thoughts:

Huge dress took crazy long. I feel like my hoopskirt should be bigger, but everyone is telling me it's big enough LOL

Styling Notes

I sectioned the wig into 7 parts, the front with the bangs and side bangs, the two pieces on the sides for braids, and four in the back from the top of the wig down to the end. I started by french braiding the side of the wig and just kept braiding down once I didn't have any more hair to work with. Then I made a bun using the top section of the four sections in the back. I used the rest of the sections and the ends of the braids to create loops around the bun and used the extra pieces to make the bun bigger and pinned. A lot.

Wig Review

Wig is soo smooth. As with long wigs, it tangles, but easy to comb out with patience!
