About this Costume
Personal Thoughts:
So much fun. I am a HUGE fan of ATLA and LoK and I relate entirely too much to Korra (I really need to work on that whole patience and calm thing) so this was honestly a blast. I had so many options for poses (though they all highlighted my sad lack of Korra Biceps)! The Mako in these pictures is my boyfriend.

(Cosplaying a character from the arctic during a Baltimore summer is a terrible, masochistic idea, however.)

Most of my costume (everything but the boots, wig, and armband) was made for me by my friend Panda, who you can find here: http://volantedesign.tumblr.com

Styling Notes
I used a razor comb and Got2B spray to shape it and tame flyaways. Straightened the face-framing pieces a little bit with a flat iron. To get the ponytail to stay up, I made a plug of folded-over/braided copper wiring, inserted it into the ponytail, then wove it into the rest of the wig with more wire.
Wig Review
Good, but meant for big heads. In retrospect, I should have made the face-framing hair tassels thicker. Ah well.
