About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
It was a lot of squares and rectangle cutting! Lena pretty much camped over several nights total to help me cut, cut, and handsew. We roughly based it off a yukata and tailored it to our measurements. Most of the orange portions were either doubled up, or lined. We also learned how to tie a tasuki.
The shoes were normal getas covered with red fabric. Ohana\'s hairclips were cut from a fake flower and hot glued onto hairclips. The clip on the uniform consisted of a fake flower head and pearls.

I ended up bringing along a pink onsen manju plush that I bought from an onsen in Japan a few years ago.

- Wig Review
- The wig was already originally soft and easy to handle. I
