Construction Details:

This ended up being a bit more of a bear to construct than I gave it credit for, and thus I'm not too pleased with how it sits (plus I did not lose the weight I intended to before Otakon, but yolo), but anyway. The suit is generic red milliskin spandex, divided into a shirt and leggings. The pleather "underwear" is only two-way stretch and thus was tough to pattern, but now it is sewn into the waistband and seamless with the rest of the suit. The neckline and boot covers are both made with the same material, and the gloves were preexisting from my Fai cosplay. The logo is made with spray-Heat'N'Bond on layers of spandex and PVC, and heat-bonded to the shirt.

Personal Thoughts:

NO CAPES. In all seriousness, 'The Incredibles' is arguably my favorite Pixar movie for being edgy, daring, a little bit violent, a little bit sexy, a little bit suggestive, and really goddamn spunky for a Disney flick. I didn't care if I had a group or not, I needed to represent the curvy-lady appeal of Elastigirl and finally cosplay from Disney, so I made it happen and I'm so glad.
