About this Costume
Construction Details:
Basically a classic example of WHAT AM I DOING: the costume. The teal parts are a turtleneck and pair of tights from welovecolors and the gloves, boots, and glasses were purchased online. The red parts were sewn by me with no pattern and 100% improvised. Lots of tears and E6000, but hey! I finished it in time so w/e. The cane is pvc pipe (3/4") that I painted and threw electric tape on. And that my dad cut for me loooool. The head was a tinfoil base that was covered in several layers of paperclay, sanded, and painted. More E6000. The sword in the cane was a piece of decorative wood molding that I paperclayed, cut, and painted. It literally makes no sense. (Special thanks to skepticarcher for her advice regarding the cane! i literally would not have been able to make it without her haha.)
Personal Thoughts:
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no but really what if my life if not this costume >:U Despite the suffering it caused me, I could not be more thrilled with how it came out. I am Troll Shakira in this thing because oh man my hips don't lie in these pictures.

Styling Notes
THIS WIG. I literally do any top-heavy style with this wig. I straightened it, chopped off the extra length, curled it, and cut the piece-y bangs into it. And then fluffed the top a little more, haha.
Wig Review
LOVE this wig, but the stray fibers are so much more noticeable in black. The blonde is my favorite of the two, no question.
