About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Vest and Pants fabric is a Gaberdine. The jacket is lined and has a satin collar. The pants were pretty easy to construct but I think I could've done a size bigger. Oh well, reasons to lose weight right?
The vest was done out of a linning and a jacquard fabric that was quite a pain to deal with. Glove pattern was hand made and redrafted to make period gloves with the buttons using a necrylon solid. Shoes were painted top and bottom, and the tie was made out of satin.
A few minor things will be tweeked for the future. - Personal Thoughts:
- This is another one of the most fun cosplays I've ever done! I love being able to be myself in this cosplay and yet it's in character. Definitely going to be defaulting this baby a lot at cons.
Wig Details
- How was the wig colored?
- Hand sewn wefts
- Styling Notes
- From about the middle of the wig down it was hand sewn wefts from Vienna in shade 001 off black to make the contrast a bit easier. Then trimmed and the blonde wefts cut out. Styled with got2be gel and glue and plenty of heat.
- Wig Review
- One of my most styled wigs to date. Each time my ahoge hits something I'm terrified but so far it's holding up good. Thank you Arda for the thick wig volume you always provide in your wigs
