Construction Details:

the only part of this costume I still like is the skirt. the plaid isn't accurate but I matched it at the seams which was very difficult, and something I haven't had the guts to attempt since XD I'm also glad that I was able to find a semi-accurate tights color, but I think I have a better shade picked out for next time. the headband was made from Paperclay, a plastic headband, and craft foam wrapped in sheer ribbon... not sure what I was thinking there. the shirt was modified, the school crest was made from felt, and... gasp... I used my own hair and glasses. still, I'm not the worst Mari I've ever seen - but looking back I missed many small details that could have made this a million times better.

also on the "re-do" list. I thought I was so cool at the time, but I can do so much better now.
