Construction Details:

first suit was made from 2-way stretch vinyl. what a nightmare. chose 2-way because it was easier to get and I figured it would be easier to work with. this could not be farther from the truth. because of the way the seams sat it did nothing for my figure, and flattened what boobs I have. my butt looked decent but I couldn't even sit down in it. also, I didn't know ball-point needles were a thing. a necessary thing.

second suit was made from... I don't even know what it was. some kind of knit that tore easily and was way too see-through. didn't even finish that suit.

third suit was made from metallic spandex from SAS, which was a fucking godsend. it never fit right because the pattern sucked, but I could at least sit down and move around in it. plus it didn't make me look like a pre-pubescent boy with an unnaturally huge ass.

each version of the helmet was made from the same base helmet, using cardboard with a foil core for the ears. I used Paperclay to smooth out the seams and strengthen the cardboard. not a bad effect but it never turned out as smooth and flat as I wanted it. I used automotive window tint for the visor but I could never get that to lay smoothly either. the germaphobe in me ripped out all of the helmet padding. I replaced it with my own but it was inadequate, so it has never sat right on my head.

probably my least favorite thing I've ever done. Celty is a very important character to me personally, so this costume was a huge disappointment to me.

Personal Thoughts:

I re-made the suit and the helmet three times each... I still hate this costume. also on the "to-do again when I am better at this crap" list.
