Construction Details:

god, what a hot mess this was. my machine was being a little shit so I completely hand-stitched the entire outfit. it was also my first time patterning everything myself, which was no small feat considering what a stupidly designed outfit this is. definitely one of my least favorite costumes, but I'm proud of the effort I put into it! fabrics were found at SAS, I'm not even sure what they were.

Personal Thoughts:

pretty much the only costume I have made at my boyfriend's request. I was unemployed at the time and pretty depressed with no cosplays to work on, so I agreed to make this if he funded it. I do like Soi Fon, but not enough to have cosplayed her otherwise.

Styling Notes

bought from a local wig shop. it was originally a bob, but a quick dunk in some boiling water took care of that. I didn't flip it out because I thought it would look silly on me. I had seen another cosplayer do the same and people loved her cosplay... probably because she was cute, skinny, and Asian. I am none of those things so I didn't get away with it. 8D
