About this Costume
Construction Details:
The shirt was bought from Goodwill and modified. I shortened the sleeves and took it in so that it was more fitted.

The skirt is my second attempt at making a pleated skirt, and it turned out MUCH better this time. I picked a plaid as close to Panty's as possible, but I couldn't find a green field, red stripe plaid anywhere in time. :/ I settled on a black field, green and red stripe plaid. (I'm sure I'm the only one who noticed or cared. XD)

Tie is from JCPenney, socks are from Sock Dreams, shoes are from Goodwill, and random gold accessories are from JoAnn's and Wal-Mart.

I made the badges for me and my Stocking so that they'd match. I made a template, cut all the pieces out of foamie, and painted, glued and then sealed the pieces. There is a piece of thin plastic on the back that I attached a pinback to. The plastic makes the badge more stable/inflexible and keeps the pinback in place.
Personal Thoughts:
My friend Angel and I volunteered to be a Panty and Stocking pair for ACP and Funimation at Anime Expo. We were initially thinking about doing their Angel forms, but with the short timeframe, we decided to do their School Girl outfits instead.

I had WAY too much fun dancing around and handing out postcards and Heaven Coins. XD I hope I get to do something like this again, and I hope it's half as much fun as this time was!

Styling Notes
This wig is a billion times better than my old Panty wig just by the sheer fluffiness. All I had to do to style it was take it out of the bag, hold it upside down, and shake it! I did take a little piece off of the top and apply some heat to get it to stick up some though, but even that was easy!
