Construction Details:

I took some design liberties and added more to her belt, as well as Arabian designs to her crown and earrings that don't appear in the film. I thought it added extra visual balance and a touch of history.

Personal Thoughts:

Aladdin has always held a high rank among Disney movies in my heart, so when I was presented with a chance to cosplay Jasmine, I jumped at the opportunity (the plans were made for NYCC, but illness at the con prevented me from wearing all my costumes). I remember playing dress-up in her classic blue outfit as a child, but seeing how many people have beautifully re-created it, I felt the challenge to do her slave outfit.
