About this Costume
Construction Details:
Armoury (Crown, pauldrons and tabard holder belt and the armband things)= Craft foam, model magic, hotglue gun (for the less than 0.5 inch raised designs), resin coated. The Pauldrons has rigid wrap underneath to give it sturdiness sans breaking. eek.

Hair clip: made out of craft foam, and hot glue gun for the raised designs. Resin coated

Wig: Futura heat resistant wig(will be used for Peach!). THe earlocks are a pain in the butt to make cause I had to stuff it with pipecleaners to achieve the full tube effect. The ends are made of craft foam attached with elastics.

White Dress= a very light goldish Silk Duponi. The Chain bottom is made from a 1/4 inch gold ribbon and the harp designs is made from Gold paint.

Purple vest= stretch jersey of sort. I hand wrote all the glyphs and transcribed all of it by hand with a game mod rip of Zelda.

Tabard= made of thick woven cotton that I hand-dyed and fabric painted.

Light arrows/Bow: Drafted on my actual height and sketched out the base design on thick Illustration board. I later Hot glued the beejeezus out of it on a PVC pipe and plaster wrapped it like crazy! The high reliefs are made from Craft foam sealed with Elmers Glue. The Arrow is made from Craft foam, illustration board and a 99 Cent Flag pole. rofl.
Personal Thoughts:
Love this costume to death! It was a pain in the butt but Im glad that it turned out so well to the audience and media.
