Construction Details:

The hat is my most extravagant accessory and I love it! The brim is shaped out of wonderflex to maintain rigidity, and then it was covered in matching white fabric then hand painted. I think the blue banana looking things are ridiculous, but it looks good overall.

The collarpiece is interfaced with buckram to keep it stiff, and so that it can withstand the weight of the dangling beads at the end.

All my gold lines are outlined with 3D gold foil, a technique that's similar to gold leafing except for fabric.

Personal Thoughts:

One of my most favourite costumes to date, and also one of the most grueling time consuming wise. I really wanted to challenge myself with this costume and I'm glad with the way it turned out and how much it made me grow as a cosplayer skills wise.

Styling Notes

I used one Ivy as a base wig and several packs of matching extensions to create the braided buns.
