Construction Details:

This was actually not easy to make. For one, when drafting patterns I usually base them off of previous one I made, but I hardly ever cosplay girls, so I didn't have any! So I based it off a romper I had.

I actually kind of morphed two of Suguri's uniforms together. There's practically a new...(Read More) one on every cover. I wanted to do the yellow one for some reason (vol 10), but the style actually matches the one in the first few volumes (which is pink) So, I took some liberty there.

This has lots of pockets and special seams, etc, so lots of little details to be aware off.

Personal Thoughts:

I absolutely love dogs (and animals in general). I am actually quite a dog nerd, knowing all the 100+ breeds in the AKC, etc. My friends actually make fun of me when I am able to identify dog breeds within seconds. I worked at a vet/kennel for 5 years during the summers, so can relate to how it is for Suguri to be working at a pet shop. (Luckily for me, the dogs at the kennel already had homes!)

I love reading Inubaka, and not only for the dogs and doggie things. Of course, the cute puppies are a big part of it ;) I like Suguri a lot, and I usually don't care for female characters very much. She's young and naive, but really caring and stands up for her beliefs. And. I love Lupin! Mutts FTW!
