Construction Details:

This costume was fairly straight forward but it did have a few tricky parts. The back of the skirt had some very strange seam lines that I had to pattern out myself. The fabric for the top was custom dyed with RIT dye. It is a china twill. The pistol is a great composite of craft foam, insulation foam, model magic, clay and wood glue. I built it in several pieces and then attached them all together, sealed the foam and painted it.

Personal Thoughts:

When some friends were planning a Tenchi group I said...OMFG CAN I BE IN IT TOO YAY! and then we all had the best time ever.

Styling Notes

The bangs are heat set with steam and the comb over was teased up and sprayed to hold its shape.

Wig Review

The Mirkwood color is darker in person than appears on arda's site but it photographed really well.
