Construction Details:

The base of the cosplay is a snake skin 50% lycra mix, it was very hard to find something that was stretchy and yellow snake skin, so I had to work with what I could find. The gold is some costuming gold and has no stretch because it was all I could find at the time (kajl;sdkfjas).
The snake skin base is just one full body suit and all the gold panels are attached to it.
I ripped fur like no ones business for all the strips on the gold panels, they are glued to the panels. Fur around the chest/neck was stuffed with polyfil to make it look fuller.
Gloves are made from a white lyrca with again attached fur cuffs.
All jewelry was constructed from craft foam, covered in modge podge and then spray painted gold. There is also a wire that allows for flexibility.
I purchased some white boots and added the fur to them.

Personal Thoughts:

Ivy has been a dream cosplay of mine for awhile. I don't really know why I choose to do the alternate outfit...I think it's pretty ugly and would look ugly on anyone who made it. SO, why not!?! Yeah, I'm going to cosplay the crap out of it even if it's unflattering.

Styling Notes

Trimmed about 3 inches off around the whole wig and razored up the edges to my likings. Styled via Got2be hair glue so the bangs stay where they need to be.
