Construction Details:

The clip itself was made entirely out of paperclay, which was attached to a Goody hairclip from Target. The pieces were made in four separate stages, which were then sugerglued together and glued/paperclayed to the clip so it would be sturdy/fill in any gaps that shouldn't be there. The color was a custom mix of Tangerine and Primary Red Americana paint, while the spring was Metallic Silver.

Personal Thoughts:

I am so happy with how this turned out! I wasn't sure if it was going to work about halfway through making it, but thankfully it did and it worked well ^^ I would consider this to be the prop I am most proud of making so far.
