Construction Details:

The wig is the burgundy colored Ivy wig from cosworx/cosplay.com.
The pink robe was bought on E-bay, I hemmed it & glued on the red thread outlining the robe.
Bought the black shorts from WalMart~ also purchased the thigh highs, kunai leg holster, kunai, shuriken holster & headband all online.
Used medical tape for the leg wrap (bad idea! gotta think of something else) & made the sandals from this online tutorial: http://sites.google.com/site/lizspain2/narutosandaltutorial
I cut the toe ends off of the thighhighs & used ShoeGoo to glue them to my sandals.
Made the obi at the last minute (using polyester & velcro) & as a result I had trouble keeping it from not bunching up while wearing it~ must redo that as well.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was made in 2010 which is why it is not accurate to the episode. When Kishimoto introduced Kushina in the manga I couldn't wait to cosplay her so I just chose colors for the costume. It is not accurate to the show but this was my 3rd cosplay, I enjoyed making it & loved wearing it. Well I hope ya like it despite the fact ^.^
