Construction Details:

I made a tube dress by flying by the seat of my pants, put in my own darts...yeah, might have had to do that a couple of times to make sure I wasn't lumpy in weird places. How I selected fabric for this was A LOT of fun. It was looking at things and asking myself it looked Amano enough. Many things were thrown into the cart, very cathartic. I used some stretch satin and gold lycra for the gold stretch accents, and the embroidery is embroidered net I cut out and painted and has been tacked to the dress. Cape has TWO layers, one painted with metallic fabric paints, tights are just white opaque tights with flower looking things painted on them. My buttcape is a little bulky - probably going to re-make that part. Oh, and I need to fix my wig.

Kayla and I have a lot of matching accents on both our costumes - like the beads we used, the baller Zebra print and the multicolored trims.

Personal Thoughts:

I wanted to be a pretty. But I wanted to be a blonde, and a killing machine. Kayla was my Relm, she painted a new horizon for all of us.
