Construction Details:

Jeans were sewed by me, and crafted from an adjusted 40s pant pattern. Shirt sewed by me as well. Headband, star necklace and earrings also made by me. Gloves and shoes purchased, and the kid shield lol.
Edit: Finished the shield! One of the most difficult things I've made but I'm so happy with how it came out. Made from a steel sled with help from the forums over at RPF.

Personal Thoughts:

So basically Steve is my favorite Avenger ever and I really wanted to be him but obviously I am not a big burly man. So... I decided to be genderbend Steve and voila! I designed my costume based off the original Captain America costume but also stuck as close as possible to the 40s style he came from. Overall I'm really proud of how it turned out. Now if only I really were a superhero...
