Construction Details:

This was constructed for competition in 2011 World Cosplay Summit Preliminaries. We didn't win, but we gave it our best shot! :) Still a lot of fun. Yikes, where to start...
The wig was pretty simple to style. The props, there are 3 of them... the earring, the sword, and the ring. They were all...(Read More) made with friendly plastic and wonderflex. The sword had to be re-made a second time after C.C. had an unfortunate accident with the first one. XD
The pants were pretty generic tuxedo style, the undershirt is kind of a froofy pirate sort of thing. It's fully lined and I had to do a few mock ups to figure out the gathering in front.
The jacket is velveteen and so fun to touch. XD um. The applique on it is done with a silver sateen and topstitched. It's mid-lined too so it's fairly heavy and sturdy.
