Construction Details:

Last minute costume for Fanime 2012.
My friend was making Mephisto and Amaimon's yukatas from that one picture of the four brothers at a summer festival, so I made Rin's to match.

Since Rin has a tail, it's probably hard for him to wear constraining clothing... like pants... or a long yukata. Even though you can't see what he's actually wearing in the picture this is based off of, it makes sense that he would opt for a shorter style of clothing to make room for that tail. I actually got the idea to make it this way from another cosplayer.

I made this the night before the con, haha. It was my first time making and wearing traditional Japanese clothing, so it didn't turn out that great. It doesn't really hang right and I accidentally made it too short. I think it looks like a bathrobe. Whatever. I'm definitely remaking this before I wear it again.

I made the mask of Kuro too, you just can't really see it in these pictures because of the way I'm wearing it. Oops. It is there though!

Personal Thoughts:

I have no idea how to wear traditional clothing. Excuse me. I am an idiot.

Also- so many hooker jokes. SO. MANY.
