Construction Details:

The only thing I made for this was the vest. It's made of dark red pleather and lined. The "wing" pattern is grey vinyl cut into the shapes and sewn on. I also added a decorative handstitch around the edges of the vinyl with embroidery floss. The tank top was bought for $4, the jeans were bought for $10, the sports bra was bought for $10. I had the gun holster and both belts already. The boots were a pair of my sisters that she kindly allowed me to use for the photoshoot.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume is not to be taken too seriously. I did this as a joke since most RE game fans are not fans of the movies. The movies are an alternate timeline and don't follow the storyline of the games. The movies focus is on Alice, a character created for the movies. The game characters are only minor roles in the movie universe.
I did promise myself I would make all of Claire Redfield's outfits, and well...this one does count. I did however put more effort into it then I intended.
I actually wear the vest out and about (not as a costume) it's quite comfy and fashionable.
This costume is great to wear around a con when I want to browse a dealer's room or grab a bite to eat.
