Construction Details:

Lack of a sewing machine at school and all of the business that comes with school had me initially dropping this outfit for Fanime even though I said I would get it done for a cosplay group. Since I had prioritized my Xiao Qiao fan and Schneewittchen for Fanime, I felt that I could put off Tsugumi until later. On a whim I decided to check out a few Goodwill stores to see if there was something I could modify, and on the week before Fanime I came across a Goodwill that had a (petite) sized black coat... I did all the modifications and detailing the night before the drive up to Los Angeles and despite the outfit itself being a bit rushed looking I think it came out pretty okay in the end. Due to the time rush, I used gratuitous amounts of glue for the details, and the coffin designs have these weird shapes on them instead of the actual official design (that susan had on her Gai outfit), whoops... I also didn't manage to get/make the right shoes for Tsugumi so I just wore my (somewhat) matching running shoes with the outfit, at least there's some lime green on the shoes that go with the green on her jacket? Hopefully I'll make up for the rushed cosplay job with Tsugumi's plugsuit version. ^^;;

Personal Thoughts:

I am guilty of cosplaying Guilty Crown. x_x In my defense, I wanted to cosplay Tsugumi during the first few episodes of the series when it was actually decent... and when it went into a spiraling descent of WTFkery I was pretty aghast alongside with friends but we decided to cosplay it anyway just for the outfits lol. Whenever evanae does her plugsuit!Inori is when I'll do Tsugumi's plugsuit version as well. *_*;;

Styling Notes

I used my Mio Akiyama wig for Tsugumi, but I trimmed the hime bangs a bit shorter (I have no idea how in the world I didn't notice that they were too long for Mio, but whatever). Versatile black hime style wig FTW!
