Construction Details:

All parts of the outfit that required sewing were done by me. It was my first time making slashed puffed sleeves and I followed a tutorial that made it more like box pleated sleeves in the end so I guess I didn't have to slash the sleeves in the first place. ^^;; I somehow couldn't find black and gray pinstripe tights so I used black and sheer pinstripe thigh highs on top of white tights. Elements of the musical Schneewittchen outfit, fanart of the character, and amazing cosplayers who have cosplayed the character were used for my outfit so there's a bunch of artistic liberties everywhere (i.e. the X's on the dress I opted to turn into bows instead). The crown is made of craft foam, and the apple is a fake apple used for decorations. I bought the shoes from a local discount store.

Personal Thoughts:

This was done for susan's Marchen group! I'm so glad to be a part of a group that all volunteered for their parts and stuck to it in the end! Everyone was responsible for their own outfits and we all looked really good together as a group and individually!! *_* Knowing how large scale groups go, I made a joke that the last person who arrives to timed meeting will have to buy the rest of the group lunch, and BEHOLD, everyone was on time (before 12PM)!! *__* Gotta use that tactic again in future groups.

"Oh, how I wish that I had a daughter that had skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony." I'm not that pale, but I tried to be paler with makeup... and I even went for redder lips even though I think it looks super weird on me... also, my wig is technically a "soft black" so it's not black as ebony I suppose... WHOOPS, FAIL ERRWHERE.

Styling Notes

I used my old Mio wig for the cosplay, but I tucked the hime bangs with bobby pins so that they wouldn't show.
