Construction Details:

Dress pattern was heavily modified from a commercial pattern for a Chinese style dress and it is made of synthetic suede and the appliques are also made of synthetic suede that are satin stitched on. I discovered that satin stitching takes FOREVER. Cape and caplet are made of a cotton blend for the outer shell and the lining in a matching pink taffeta; the purple edging has two different embroidery stitches that tack it down to the cape. This is the first time I ever made leg warmers and they're pretty fun :3, it's just a tube! Belt I already had in my closet. Head piece is made of jewelry wire and a moon button. Brooch is sculpted out of Primo! with cute fish rocks backed with silver shiny ass paper to make it look like a gem and painted with sparkle paint for the heck of it.
