Construction Details:

Only thing that needed to be made was the mask. Paperclay and model magic over a wire frame, then covered with gesso and acrylic before being messied with some red and black acrylic. The bird model is pretty plain in reference images, so I decorated it a bit based off the rabbit/cat masks and, since I wanted a slightly raised design that wouldn't break off, I drew it on in hot glue that I painted silver.

Personal Thoughts:

Made at the last minute to join a bunch of splicer friends. I normally stay away from costumes from sources that I haven't watched/played, but I just really wanted to costume with them. It was really great to get to group with so many of my friends (many of whom are also on ACP/ACE as Mekou, Stray Wind, chibik3r0, and Scoti).

First time making a mask. It was fun, but I wish I'd had more time to spend on it.
