Construction Details:

So I pretty much built everything except my socks and shoes from scratch.

The shirt was patterned off of an old t-shirt I had and made out of a heavy jersey, while the skirt was made out of some stretch twill I dyed and sewed together.

The hat and backpack are both made out of a soft fleece. I altered the pattern for the Finn hat off the Cartoon Network site and put wire in the ears to hold them up. The wig is just a bang from Arda Wigs. The backpack I patterned out myself and stuff full of fluff. It actually works and makes it easy to carry my stuff around con.

The socks were purchased from Sock Dreams and I painted the stripes on with Jaquard fabric paint.

The sword was the hardest part. It's made completely from scratch and started out as two wooden dowels. The handle is made out of resin while the rest of it is made out of foam core board, mitered corners and all. The whole thing was covered in bondo and sanded forever.

Personal Thoughts:

My boyfriend is particularly fond of AT. And it's really hard to get him to cosplay sometimes so I took his love of the show to my advantage so we could do a cosplay together. I love Fionna even though there's not much of her I'm really happy with how my cosplay came out.
