Construction Details:

Based mainly upon the manga art, rather than the anime.
Sewed the school uniform underneath, the exorcist coat, and the belt/pouches. Resin-casted the lapel pins and the buttons. My friend Vensy resin-casted the Exorcist pin for me! :)

Demograph and I made it a point to match all our fabrics. We're also using the same contact lens line (Puffy 3-tone) in different colors (Rin in blue, Yukio in turquoise), and the same wig (but chopped up to match the characters of course). xD;;

I never want to work with pleather ever again.

Personal Thoughts:

I love this cosplay so much! Yukio is my favorite character from Ao no Exorcist, and I feel like I can relate to him on multiple levels, from being a too serious, unfunny stick in the mud to having an always increasing number of moles. (It's tough covering my real moles for this cosplay...) It helps that Demograph makes an awesome Rin, cos our personality dynamic makes cosplaying those two really fun!

Wig Review

One of Fantasy Sheep's older wigs. I like it more than some of the newer ones. It has a good amount of volume, but can also be styled down as needed here for Yukio.
