Personal Thoughts:

This costume was supposed to be simple and just something fun to do. It turned out so much harder than I expected. I'm relatively new to sewing. I do get a lot of help from friends and family, though most of this I planned with a friend and then delved right in.

Oh those ruffles. I thought I could save time and get a narrow hem foot to save on thickness at the seams... but I'm not sure if it was the right method to do. The hems were so hard... I did a better job doing them by hand the last time I did something similar.

I learned a lot with this sewing project.
