Construction Details:

this was the first costume i've entirely sewn myself. it was pretty easy, i altered a long skirt and tunic pattern from walmart. the hood was the hardest part, as i figured it out all myself. the buttons on the hood actually work. the entire outfit is made from black and dark grey kona cotton. (kona cotton is basically the fabric from hell, it wrinkles so much, and i'm not sure i like the way it falls, but it was the only fabric i could find in the dark grey) the shoes were bought at walmart, and the tights ordered online and dyed grey. the planets are syrofoam balls, spackled and painted, with eyelets in them so i can string invisible thread and hold them.

Personal Thoughts:

i'm considerably a lazy homestuck fan, i try not to associate with the fandom cause boy are they a handful, but i can't deny my love for the one jade harley.
