About this Costume
- Construction Details:

The Kimono was made by cutting the satin (not authentic for actual Kimono, but this is a costume, so...) into widths of 15" wide. No pattern was used for the Kimono. The "snowflakes" are hand painted.
The Obi is 15 feet long and is made of a white on white brocade. A thick interfacing was included in the obi to give it the stability obi's require.
The juban is made of white cotton. The Obijime is white cording.
The scarf is made of velveteen.
This was made by myself & my mom, BankOfMom.
The prop is cardboard and the ends are insulation foam cut to shape and painted.
