Construction Details:

Sweetheart corset was purchased from Three Muses online, and altered to better fit me and trims were added (hoping to replace it with a correct style later as the bones in it are starting to poke out). The skirt is an altered circle skirt pattern, with the hemline slightly asymmetrical. Honestly to actually have the side gathered and still make the dress look smooth makes no sense in the real world.
Accessories includes thimble on the right pinky finger (a piece of Fun Foam is stuffed in there so it doesn't fall off my finger), and a cameo purchased from Etsy.

Personal Thoughts:

Costume was made originally in April 2012, a year before the game release, so it's not as accurate as the final in-game design. I made it in anticipation of the October release (y'know, before the game was pushed back again). I already loved the first two installments of the franchise and just couldn't contain my excitement for this game or this character. A lot of interviews with Ken Levine talked about Elizabeth's giant, expressive eyes and I knew this was a character for me.
I have since remade this costume THREE TIMES. And want to do another (new corset + fuller white under skirt). Current photos listed are from a photo shoot with OscarC Photography in San Francisco.

hacked off most of the length when I decided to replace my Little Sister wig.
