Construction Details:

I wanted to go with a material that felt kind of rough...sort of home-spun and functional, rather than pretty. I also wanted something that wasn't a solid colour to fit in with the style of the concept art. It's lined with fleece as I was originally sewing this for a late fall photoshoot.

Used the same fabric to make the lacing on the sleeves and the bootcovers. The wrapping on the bootcovers was leftover material from my Satsuki costume.

Mix of hand-sewing and machine sewing, plus some strategically placed and stuffed fleece to try to go for that sort of artfully frumpy-but-cute look the Geomancer has going on.

Personal Thoughts:

Tactics is my favourite Final Fantasy game (after 6, that is...), so it was only a matter of time before I made another outfit from it.

The costume is very comfortable...aside from the lack of pants (I wore some shorts underneath, but even then it's kind of disconcerting). The wig, on the other hand, had a cap way too small for my head.

Styling Notes

Just split it into two low ponytails and put a very short braid in with long tails.

An extra wig from a friend's overstock; I liked the colour and had it on hand when I was looking for one to use with Geomancer.
