About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Everything made from scratch. I watched the behind the scenes footage over and over to try and understand how this costume was supposed to be put together. I based the shirt patterning off of an old shirt I had, everything else I sort of just made up. Soooo many yards of fabric went into this- and all of it was "red-tag" fabric from Jo Ann that I had collected throughout the years. I am currently in the process of more distressing and trying to restructure the cape/shawl/mass of fabric so it holds its form better. And that horrible wig... I may be making a new one altogether, or just tweaking this one ab bit more.
- Personal Thoughts:
- I loved looking like a crazy homeless lady!!

- Styling Notes
- I used the cheapest crappiest wig I have ever seen. It was 6 bucks and has huge bald patches everywhere. It is shiny and horrible. Some areas have been trimmed, some bald patches sort of filled in, but most of this wig has been me just dreading kanekalon and sewing them into the wig.
- Wig Review
- It works ok for this costume, however it is still pretty awful. I hate seeing people using Halloween store wigs for their cosplays, and I would never use one again!!! Seriously, this is a one-and-only type of exception.
