Construction Details:

Boning was used to make the clover stand up. Had to make sure it stood up enough to be seen behind my back, and also not too forward that it's pressing against the back of my head. I pretty much had no experience prior to this (the only time I can think of using boning was for Tomoyo-hime from Tsubasa yeeeeeeears ago), so it was a lot of trial and error. The designs were put on using Heat&Bond, my most favourite thing 8D

I think this goes on par with the anguish one would experience in making a CLAMP costume. Things just make no sense in this costume. Of course, the easy bits like the shorts and the tube top were not as bad. But the clover "jacket" and the gladiator sandals were /hell/ to make. Fortunately, the gloves weren't as bad too.

I guess I wouldn't have been as frustrated if I spent more time trying to figure it out instead of trying to cram time in making it on top of other things in life... Also, had to make sure nothing fell apart as I needed to actually move and 'fight' in it on stage... Fun times.
