Construction Details:

Most of the costume is found/bought items. I got the leotard from a dance supply store, the tights are from Sock Dreams, and boots were from Goodwill. I'm definitely going to have to find different tights when I wear this again. (Stupid control top bands!)

I couldn't find a plain navy bolero to use, so I got some bottomweight twill from Joanns and modified a shrug pattern to make the jacket. It turned out pretty well even if it isn't lined.

The choker is just some ribbon that has velcro sewed on.

I did add cuffs to the boots by adding velcro to the top inside of the boot and making cuffs out of some faux leather. They're a bit difficult to get on and off, but they look good.

Personal Thoughts:

I had planned on a Phoenix cosplay for C2E2 (admittedly last minute), but my fabric wasn't going to make it to me on time. So, I went with Black Canary instead since her costume's relatively easy to make and recognizable.

I'm much more of a Marvel fan, especially the X-Men, but I do really like DC's animated universe.
