Everything was made by me except the prop itself which was made by my friend, David.

Ohhh the hakama shorts D:
It was my first time making hakama style bottoms. I had a horrendous time working with the pleats and getting the overall shaping of it. The pleats wouldn't sit correctly at first, it was awful XD" It doesn't help that I didn't use a pattern and winged it instead. Lesson learnt. Unfortunately, I don't think I can officially say I know how to make a pair still. I'd probably still wing it again because I haven't really sat down to work at how a real pair would work. In the mean time, I'm just going to try and avoid sewing another pair anytime soon(lol)

Overall, I'm kinda... not all that satisfied with the costume construction .__. The kimono has it's faults too. Everything has it's faults ~___~" The only thing I was satisfied with were the stockings! It was my first time using the mock safety stitch. Actually, I had a lot of fun with learning that new technique xD

Personal Thoughts:

I love oriental clothing of any sort so Ririchiyo's youkai form really caught my eye >A
