Construction Details:

The top and skirt were handsewn @.@ I wanted to add a touch of cute lolita fashion hence the fluffiness, bows and lace. Originally I wanted a lighter yellow fabric. An old tutu acts as my petticoat to give it more shape. Fluttershy's tail is hilarious because it looks like a plushie.

Her ears are made out of craft foam - painted and glued together on a headband. The wings are also foam. I drew the shape and cut it out, gluing two layers together. Wire hanger acts as the base and yellow ribbons make up the harness. I love the flower hair clip I whipped up last minute to add a little something extra.

One thing I want to change is the sleeves. Maybe I'll try a puff sleeve in the future.

Personal Thoughts:

Fluttershy is so adorable!!! This was also my first costume I created from scratch. I'm very proud of it.
