Construction Details:

Everything on this costumed was either hand made or customized. The only thing that wasn't was the bangles.

I added 5 yards of handpainted gold trim to the dress and changed up the wig style from the first time I wore it.

Personal Thoughts:

I made Princess Celestia to go along with my friend's Princess Luna for Anime Detour 2012.

This is a not-so-hallway friendly cosplay, as I have a good 6-8' of train behind me when I walk (and I'm not carrying it). The wings can prove to be a hazard as well. It's a lot of fun to wear, but it's a pain to get ready for!

Styling Notes

Wefted in pink in the front, trimmed and styled the bangs and the side swoops into what they are now.
