Construction Details:

This was surprisingly troublesome because every single part put up a fight! From 'standard' shirt patterns never fitting me right to the green paint on the hair-baubles refusing to stick

mom dusted off the ol' pattern-making skills (hidden darts is where its at), and also ripped apart a crazy-oversized polo shirt to use as material. The final result is super-comfy, breathable & easy to move in!
The skirt was a chore of folding/pinning/pressing perfect pleats for a week. Frellin' WORTH IT!

Personal Thoughts:

All Renee's fault! She just randomly gave me rose earrings one day: how could I not after that?

PS: remember when uniform designs featured knee-length skirts? yeaaaah
