Construction Details:

This was my third sailor fuku, so it wasn't hard, but it was a great improvement over my first two. The skirt and sailor collar are made of casa satin. The sleeves and underskirt are organza. I bought the boots online, but the calves were tight, so I added a triangle of white vinyl and cut the V in, and they fit perfectly. I also made the silence glaive using a pvc pipe and insulation foam that was cut and sanded, and coated with gesso.

I made this costume for the annual giant Sailor Moon group at Katsucon.

Styling Notes

Arda's katinka is perfect for Saturn. All I had to do was brush the bangs to the side a little so my tiara could be seen.
