Construction Details:

This costume was deceptively difficult. My girl Adella taught me how to make a box-pleated skirt and I messed around to make the crazy shaped hem. Pretty much all of the AngelHearts girls helped me get my halter top to fit correctly. And Sparklepipsi and I stayed up to crazy hours in the night figuring out the boot covers. I'm wearing sneakers because the boots are really painful for me to dance in. The gloves were a BEAST. They look like that in the game and really don't translate well in real life. They needed to stand up/out like that so I interfaced them, but that caused the whole thing to crease all funny any time I moved my arms. Oh well =/

Personal Thoughts:

Finally got this one done! I LOVE MY GIRLS! We were graciously invited by Anime Conji to perform at masq halftime and matsuri so we made these for the event! For Sunday's matsuri the sunshine literally came out just for our performance and then disappeared into the rain and hail when we stepped off stage!

We will have our whole group in these for the first time at Fanime 2012!
