Construction Details:

I sold my own Beauxbaton student costume a couple of years back and was recently commissioned from the buyer to make the matching jacket. The jacket was made using a Butterick pattern. The body is made up of matte satin, the lining is a polyester. The pocket embroidery was vectorized in Adobe Illustrator than traced onto the pocket and free motion embroidered. The bias tape is your run of the mill cotton bias tape and is mostly hand sewn down.

This was a commission completed in March of 2012.
