Construction Details:

Dress- It's a top and a skirt. The bodice fabric was a lucky find and was the end of the bolt and I haven't seen it since. The pattern was modified to add the under bust seam, lengthen it and add the sweet heart neckline.
The skirt has an overlay on the front. All the embroidery was done by hand... that took a few weeks by itself but I am so happy with it! It was well worth the time and effort.

Wig- The wig is made from one long wig, one pack of wefts, and 6 4 foot long falls. It's actually 3 separate pieces. I based it off of the park wig because it's very heavy and hanging straight down the back hurts my neck. I think it weighs about 15 pounds.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a labor of love... it is the second version of the dress, and the third of the wig, but it was worth it. I love this costume to bits!
