Construction Details:

Drafted up my own pattern, because lol differing lengths in the front and back, and then the side petals were a long period of playing with lengths of muslin and where I wanted them to sit. Petals are lined in brown, and there's bias tape everywhere because lol Tales. Gold accents are fabric paint with the help of masking tape.

Personal Thoughts:

I actually started crying when I got this on fully. Since her Cool Lady outfit was the first costume I sewed, it sort of feels like a cosplay full-circle to do this now. And how many things I've learned and changed since then. Back when I thought this costume was so far out of my skill level. And now doing it, I get to mark it as only a 2/5 for difficulty!

CLASSE WIGS FOR LYFE. Until the third round of dye, I had zero dye rinse out of this wig. Also it seems to be tangle resistant; I was spreading it around to bring different fibers to the top, and it still brushed out in two strokes. Definitely worth the money.
