About this Costume
- Personal Thoughts:
- Meant to do this 2 years ago. I finally did it for the Norcal Spring 2012 Gathering in Kelley Park in San Jose, CA.
Bought a shirt off eBay, marked on it with chalk, hacked away at it, cut like most of it apart, added bias trim, zipper, eyelets, elastic. Marked shirt as best as I could tell what the design was with chalk, fabric painted it overnight with white and dark blue fabric paint, freehand. If I could make a living off of fabric painting cosplays I would XD
Jewelry I already had.
Contacts are Kingsize Gray.
Pants were stretchy jegging-like pants I just rolled up.
Shoes are wrong, I freaking couldn't find plain white heels in time. :(
It's so unusual to see myself with short black hair, since usually my characters all have elegant super long hair, so it felt a little weird, and my back was exposed and the shirt is so low cut! this design is so not practical for fighting ghosts, lol.
Didn't really get recognized, but I love this game, even if I'm so scared when I play it.
Camera is a real Kodak folding camera bought off of eBay. If I had film for it I could probably use it. :D
Next time I wear this I'll have the tattoo painted on me and more props and some ghosties, and take pics in a creepy japanese house at night. Snow pics would also be fun.
*edit: omg bought white heels, time to slim down and weather my camera up and paint the symbols onto it and make film cases. Also, it's weird to see myself with such short hair. XD
