Construction Details:

The hakama pants are made with some kind of semi-stretchy fabric and a yellow canvas for the flames (these need to have black edges put on them). I tried to be as accurate as I could be with the ties, so I made one set out of the same red material as the pants and the other set out of white twill tape (to match the art).

The geta were from my butterfly Yuuko costume, and the top is just some ace bandages.

The earrings are silver clip on backings with painted model magic. The tattoo was drawn on with eyeliner and a stencil (it's black because I think the blue tattoo in the anime looks stupid...)

Personal Thoughts:

This was a sort of last minute decision, but I'm really glad I did it! I kind of always had Erza in mind if I was ever going to cosplay from Fairy Tail, and since I'd bought a red ponytail wig for a version of Yoko that hadn't happened, I figured, why not?
